đź’ˇ Ask mo: What is to be taken into account with regard to the material discharge?
The choice of material discharge flap essentially depends on the flow behavior of the conveyed material and the desired throughput rate. For easy-flowing granulate, a swivel outlet flap with counterweight, which opens and closes depending on the fill level, is usually sufficient. Heavy-flowing powders, on the other hand, often require controlled rotary flaps with a larger outlet diameter, which act as a discharge element and prevent bridge formation at the same time. The same applies to conveying of particularly light materials.
